OYOBI- DONT LET IT GO TO YOUR HEAD
B-SIDE: SE TE VA
"14 months on from the release of their celebrated Translations EP, Oyobi is ready to unleash their latest dancefloor-ready fusion bomb: a colourful cover of Jean Carn's Philly Soul classic 'Don't Let it Go to Your Head'. Featuring super-sweet and soulful lead vocals from Karen Lee Andrews, Oyobi's version is warm, musically intricate and fluid, re-imagining the Carn classic as a Latin-infused broken soul gem rich in timbales, twinkling pianos and jaunty Clavinet stabs. Over on the flip they revert to type with 'Se Te Va', an infectious and heavyweight fusion of low-slung disco bass and percussion-rich salsa rhythms." -Review: Juno UK
"It’s nothing short of sublime. It’s a Latin-infused, dancefloor-ready track that feels like it was destined to soundtrack a pivotal scene in Pulp Fiction. " Tone Deaf, The Brag.
"You checked all the right boxes with your cover of Don’t Let It Go To Your Head! Brava! " Jean Carne -singer and performer of the original 1979 track.

"MI RITMO" BY OYOBI FEAT MALO MALO
DIGITAL SINGLE AND REMIX PACKAGE ON ATJAZZ RECORD COMPANY UK
"Mi Ritmo, an awesome Latin-Jazz collaboration with Malo Malo and taken from the epic debut album by Australian super-trio OYOBI, entitled TRANSCENDENCE.
Vincent Sebastian, Adam Ventoura & Daniel Pliner (OYOBI) team up Danny G Felix and his Colombian Orchestra Malo Malo on Mi Ritmo and elevate this wonderful piece of modern Latin-Jazz-Dance to great heights. Layers upon layers of beautiful lively percussion, horns, piano & bass make this a very exciting start to what is turning out to be an intoxicating musical journey.
Remix detail from OYOBI Producer VINCENT SEBASTIAN who drops a more 4x4 feel to the original song design with great elegance, ROSARIO takes things really deep, super-deep even, seriously, this is such proper deep house!, and last but not least NICOLE TANIA stirs things right up with this modern take where 808 drums lead the way. Something you can really get your teeth into!"-Review Martin Iverson
