A guided studio experience in sound, instinct, and flow
Create From Nothing is a small-group studio workshop where participants create music from scratch using rhythm, sound, and studio tools.
No musical experience is necessary. The workshop is designed to bring people into direct contact with creativity through participation, listening, and play.
Starting with simple sounds and rhythms, participants gradually build layered musical ideas together in real time, learning how structure, repetition, and interaction shape the creative process.
The ProcessThe workshop is based on a simple idea:
Creativity develops through inspiration & participation.
Using rhythm, repetition, variation, and group interaction, participants learn by doing. They create music together step–by-step inside a supportive studio environment.
Rather than focusing on technical ability, the workshop focuses on listening, interaction, instinct, and flow.
Creations from the Workshop
Each workshop begins with nothing – no fixed ideas, no prepared compositions. Most participants have never created music, nor been in a recording studio.
The recordings below were created collaboratively within 1.5 hr sessions, using percussion, voice, electronic instruments, and live arrangement.
Workshop 01 — Rhythmic Waves
Built from various percussion, synth noise textures, and drum machines.
Workshop 02 — Wanna Feel Your Sunshine
A layered improvisation combining rhythm, synthesisers, and group vocals.
