Music is a personal experience that often changes the way we view life, and for some, it’s part of a deeper purpose that guides interactions, experiences, and goals. That was the case for me, as I recount the funny, insightful, and painful experiences that have developed through my passion and dedication to music, and in particular, my love for rhythm and the conga drum.

This love for music enabled vast travels, mysterious synchronicities, uplifting performances, and meetings with strange and eccentric peoples from all walks of life. My exploration to find the ‘soul of percussion’ has crafted a life that guides my choices and continuously opens new pathways for rich and meaningful experiences. My story highlights the role and effects of music from those immersed and afflicted from the inside.
