Create from Nothing [Guided Music Workshop]

$50.00

A guided studio experience in music, instinct, and flow.

Create From Nothing is a small-group workshop (maximum 5 participants) for anybody curious about making music through participation, experimentation, and collaboration.

No musical experience is needed.

Together, we build music from scratch using rhythm, sound, and technology. The process is guided step by step inside a professional studio environment using instruments, drum machines, microphones, and studio tools.

The focus is not technical perfection.

It’s about participation, creativity, listening, and discovering how quickly music can emerge when people are given the right environment and structure.

Most people arrive thinking they “can’t make music.” Within minutes, they are already contributing to something real.

By the end of the session, the group will have created and recorded an original piece together — something imperfect, alive, and a lasting record of the experience.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • A relaxed and welcoming studio environment

  • Guided creative exercises using rhythm and sound

  • Hands-on interaction with instruments and music technology

  • Collective music-making in a small group setting

  • A professionally produced recording of the session to take away

  • No prior musical knowledge required

WHO IT’S FOR

This workshop is for:

  • curious beginners

  • creatives feeling disconnected from inspiration

  • people who have always wanted to try making music

  • artists looking for a fresh process

  • people with creative ideas who don't know where to begin

  • anyone interested in creativity through participation

You do not need:

  • musical training

  • rhythm skills

  • technical knowledge

  • performance experience

Just curiosity and a willingness to participate.

Create From Nothing is open to anybody, and a mix of different backgrounds often enriches the experience.

If you already have some musical experience, the workshop offers an opportunity to explore new ways of approaching creativity, sound, and the studio environment.

THE APPROACH

The workshop draws from my background as a percussionist, producer, DJ, and researcher into music, rhythm, participation, and human experience.

Rather than teaching music academically, the session focuses on direct experience: how rhythm, repetition, listening, and interaction naturally allow creativity to emerge.

It’s less about “learning music” and more about entering the process of creation itself.

Protecting the Creative Space

Create From Nothing is an immersive creative experience rather than a recording session or collaborative release project.

To help everyone participate freely, openly, and without concern about where their contributions may end up afterwards:

  • Participants receive a professionally produced track that serves as a keepsake and record of the experience.

  • Individual recordings, stems, and source files are not shared or redistributed after the workshop.

  • Material created during the workshop is not intended for future releases, external projects, or public distribution.

  • Any future studio collaborations or creative development are considered separate services and begin from new ideas inspired by the experience, rather than repurposing workshop material.

These guidelines help create a space where everyone can be playful, vulnerable, and creative.
